265kms from Sydney on the Hume Hwy via Goulburn; or
191kms from Penrith on the Great Western Hwy via Hartley and Jenolan Caves Road and Shooters Hill Road; or
162kms from Canberra; or
72kms from Goulburn on the Goulburn-Taralga-Oberon Road; or
71kms from Oberon on Shooters Hill Road; or
28kms from Taralga on Richlands Road/Goulburn-Taralga-Oberon Road
Keep an eye out for the property entrance marked with a bright RED Letterbox with an 'ABERCROMBIE RIDGE' sign in front of a large rock fence.
The entrance to our driveway is BETWEEN the middle yellow reflective signs on the bend.
DIRECTIONS IF COMING FROM SYDNEY VIA GOULBURN:
1. Drive south to Goulburn on the 'HUME HWY' and take the 'SYDNEY ROAD' exit (exit 1 of 2 – which is sign posted Goulburn).
2. Turn 'RIGHT' at the first set of lights at 'UNION STREET' (sign posted Wombeyan Caves and Taralga). Reset your odometer to ZERO (0) here.
3. Turn 'RIGHT' at 'CHANTRY STREET' which continues as 'TARALGA ROAD'. Continue along 'TARALGA ROAD' for 72kms.
4. Drive straight through the centre of Taralga and continue along 'TARALGA ROAD' for another 26kms (approx. 15 minutes).
5. Abercrombie Ridge's driveway is approximately 2kms past 'The Tin Shed Gallery' on the RIGHT.
6. There is a large black and yellow 'CONCEALED DRIVEWAY 250M AHEAD' sign and the property is marked with a bright RED Letterbox with an 'ABERCROMBIE RIDGE' sign in front of a large rock fence which you'll see on the 'RIGHT HAND SIDE OF THE ROAD' just before the decline to the Abercrombie River.
Note: If you reach the concrete bridge at Abercrombie River, you have gone too far, turn around and drive back up the hill to the entrance of the Property (now on the left).
DIRECTIONS IF COMING FROM THE BLUE MOUNTAINS VIA OBERON:
1. Drive through the Blue Mountains and head for OBERON.
2. Leave OBERON via 'SHOOTERS HILL ROAD' and follow 'SHOOTERS HILL ROAD' for 36kms.
3. Turn LEFT onto 'ABERCROMBIE ROAD' and drive for 31kms until you reach the concrete bridge at the Abercrombie River.
4. Continue up 'TARALGA ROAD' for 2.5kms until you reach the top of the hill and the entrance to the Property will be the first on your LEFT. Keep an eye out for the large black and yellow 'CONCEALED DRIVEWAY 250M AHEAD' sign on the RIGHT side of the road. The Property is marked with a with a bright RED Letterbox with an 'ABERCROMBIE RIDGE' sign in front of a large rock fence on your LEFT.
Note: If you see a sign for 'Tanjenong Cottages 500m on Left', turn around as the entrance to the Property is 1km behind you.
