Abercrombie Ridge is truly a stunning destination for hosting events.

We value transparency from our guests during the booking process and are committed to working with you to ensure your event or special occasion is flawless.


However, there are instances where guests book accommodations but attempt to use the property for an event or celebration without proper notice. This can be disheartening, as we take great pride in maintaining our property. Preparing the grounds for an event requires two weeks of dedicated effort, and it is essential that our time and labour are reflected in your booking costs.


Elopements, Weddings, and Special Events

Hosting an Elopement, Wedding, or Special Event at Abercrombie Ridge incurs an additional fee. Additionally, the accommodation rate will be charged at the 'Peak rate' rather than the 'Standard rate.'


What Defines a Venue Hire Fee?

A Venue Hire Fee applies if guests use the Arbour, set up trestles, bring in rented equipment, rearrange furniture indoors or outdoors, or invite non-overnight guests to the property for a celebration.


How is the Venue Hire Fee Applied?

If a guest fails to pay the Venue Hire Fee upfront, the fee will be retrospectively charged, along with the difference between the 'Peak rate' and the 'Standard rate.'
