Abercrombie Ridge is a wildlife refuge and guests MUST register their pets prior to arriving onto our Property.
We'd like to remind HIRERS that pets are the responsibility of their owner and are subject to the following conditions:
The Hirer and Guests may bring pets to the Property subject to these Terms. Native Wildlife comes onto the Property, often close to the Premises, and must be kept safe from interference by domestic pets.
During the day, Pets must be under control at all times, either on or off leash depending on the pet's training and obedience.
At night pets must be kept inside and must not be left unattended at any time.
Pet droppings must be cleaned up and disposed of.
The Hirer must indemnify the Operator and the Owner in respect of any loss, damage, claim or liability of whatsoever nature that may arise wholly or partly from the bringing of pets onto the Property or into the Premises by the Hirer or any Guest.
Neither the Operator nor the Owner will be liable for any loss, death, illness, injury or accidents of any kind occurring to pets while on the Property.
Additional house set up is required before arrival and additional cleaning fees of $50 per pet do apply for pets who stay.
What else should I be aware of?
Pets MUST be house trained:
We welcome pets to our house however they MUST be house trained. Puppies (<6 months) and older pets will need to be approved prior to your stay.
Sleeping arrangements for pets:
We'd like to ask that dogs only sleep in the 2nd bedroom (the big room under the mezzanine) so that we can minimise overnight soiling in other areas of the house. Pets have direct access out to the backyard at night through the sliding doors to go to the toilet. Please do not allow pets to wander upstairs or sleep in any other room as other rooms are kept for guests who require a non-pet contaminated room.
Pet soiling and marking:
Please ensure your pets do not soil or mark our carpets, rugs and furniture. If they do, please ensure you clean this up properly. If pet stains and marks on our furniture are found after your stay, you may be charged for additional cleaning.
Pets on the beds:
Dirt or mud stains caused by your pets' paws WILL ruin our white linen sheets. If dirt or mud paw prints are found on our white linen, a replacement cost for the linen that is damaged will be taken from your security deposit.
Pets on the sofa:
Whilst the house is pet-friendly, not all our guests like pet hair on the sofa, so we have placed blankets on the sofa to accommodate your pets, please leave these on during your stay.
